  • Note that the standard web-app works very good on smartphones and tablets (since version Mastodon 4.4 even better). So that is our number one advise.

Android

  • Mastodon for Android (official): Google Play, FDroid, source
    Quote posts supported. Only recommended for beginners. Note that this app won't show the federated feed (local feed can be found under 'explore > community'). Long posts are not collapsed, what can be annoying.

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  • Although not recommended by us, because these apps are not open-source, other people recommend these iOS apps:

    • Ivory (€€€ expensive payed subscription)
